Upcycling- Colored Pencil Holder From a Wafer Roll (yum) Tin

Well, here's another super easy project for you. Yesterday, I found a nice tin container for cream wafer rolls just sitting there. Can you believe that? Just sitting. OK, maybe not so impressive. But anyway, I covered it up with some white paper, and decorated it with some of that lovely lace tape featured in the shop... and it was a perfect fit for all my colored pencils!

My "Polaroids"

Lately, I've been intrigued by Polaroids. You know, those charming vintage photographs in the iconic white border that leaves space for you to write a little note? Yep. And thus, I wanted them. That's okay, since they're readily available, right? Online you can buy little pockets to slip your photos in. They look (sorta) like Polaroids, but the price is a little obscene for my taste. And the pockets are bulky.

Then there's the option of buying a Polaroid 600, taking photos, building a darkroom, and developing them on their special little cassettes. Um, no.

But hey! There's still hope! And that's called "use polaroin.com to generate some Polaroid pictures, fix them up a little in photoshop, then get them printed at Costco". That seemed to work for me. The results were actually pretty good! When I get them I'll crop 'em up to be 4"x5".
